Rectified

Rectified porcelain tile is a tile that has been re sawed after it is made. This allows the tiles to be installed with a tighter grout joint.

Mosaic

Mosaics are small pieces of tiles, usually marble or glass fitted onto a fibre netting to hold them in place prior to fitting. They can be used on walls and floors either as a border or as feature.

Porcelain

Porcelain is made from special clays and minerals that are Klin-fired at temperatures that can exceed 2400 degrees Fahrenheit. As a result porcelain is both harder and denser that other tile products. Additionally porcelain is frost-proof as well as highly stain, scratch and water resistant.

Ceramic

Ceramic tiles are created from natural products extracted from the earth that are shaped into tiles and then fired in kilns at extremely high temperatures.

Lithofin

A range of care products we recommend for cleaning, sealing and maintaining tile products.

Pallet

A crate or wooden board used to transport your delivery on.

Polished

A term referring to a tile that has been mechanically worked to achieve a high gloss, most often found in granite and marbles. Polished stone can come in a degree of sheen and will not necessarily be a high buff polish. Different stones can be polished to different levels.

Pump Truck

A piece of equipment used by the delivery driver to pull your pallet to the nearest and safest point to your home.

Tail Lift

The lift end of a van or lorry used for lowering your pallet to the ground, which enables you to take delivery without the use of a forklift.

QEP

A range of grouts we recommend. We can supply these alongside your tile or separately. .
